Based in New York and Los Angeles and run by siblings Alana & Adam Amram, After The Fall unites a world of music which the Amram Family have been a part of since the 1950’s. All the Amram’s combined have over 100 years on the road as multi- instrumentalists, accompanist, songwriters and composers. The label begins with plans to release lost jazz and classical works by their father, composer and multi- instrumentalist David Amram, new compositions by singer/ songwriter, composer and multi- instrumentalist Alana Amram, and singer/ songwriter percussionist and multi instrumentalist Adam Amram. In addition, efforts are underway by all of them together for some collaborative works. The releases will be a multi- media undertaking in the form of film, recordings, books and visual art. The focus on high quality gems from the family archive and contemporary works ties together the family legacy. Much like a dinner at any Amram function, the label will allow an extra seat at the table for the listener. As the landscape of society, culture and art is changing, After The Fall is a phoenix rising. It is a chance to tell a family story of a long line of adventurers who persevere to light the path ahead.
